Age Rating/Genre

Read below for more info, but basically, there isn't a huge amount of sexual themes, language, or drug use, but there is a significant amount of 'some parts of this [series] may be considered violent or cruel' and blood and gore.

Differences between Series and Game

So, as you progress through the storyline, you'll probably realize, like I've said, there are many different elements between the Silent Hill games and SHDC. One main difference is the monsters:

In the Silent Hill games, the monsters take on different appearences to represent the main characters suffering, or something else that affects their life. This hasn't changed in SHDC except for the fact that, since all the main characters are all in Silent Hill, all the monsters appear at once
